About us

We are an interdenominational Christian organization, organized with a non-profit motivation.  Our objective is to help you through the conflict resolution of the divorce process, in a Biblical manner.  Rather than fighting out in court the answer to questions like how do we split the assets, develop a custody and visitation plan, develop a child and spouse support plan etc, we take you through a five step process based upon biblical dispute resolution (1 Cor 6: 1-6) principles.  We will create a "memorandum of Agreement" that is filed with the court, and the court grants the dissolution based upon the contents of the agreement.

Guiding Principles and Values

We are Biblically based; see 1 Cor. 6: 1-6.

We do not provide an easy way to avoid sincere attempts to reconcile.

We will always guide couples back to reconciliation until a divorce is finalized.

We work to protect privacy of clients both as couples and as individuals.

We strive to minimize the negative impact of the divorce process on clients, their families, and churches.

We serve as a neutral third party in both mediation and arbitration regardless of how fees are paid.

Company history

We began in 2005.

Why was Christian Divorce Services (CDS) founded?

CDS recognizes the fact that even Christian marriages often end in divorce. At that time, many couples enter the legal system lacking Christian-based services to protect and guide them. CDS provides arbitration and mediation services to structure a legally-binding dissolution while avoiding the cost, time and energy of a trial-based divorce. CDS’ process protects individual privacy and ensures adherence to Christian principles during a period of stress and conflict.

We are applying for IRS qualification as a 501c3 charitable organization.  We do not solicit donations at this time, however we DO engage in charitable works, pro bono work, and accept court referred cases.

Customer testimonials

Here is what some of our clients have had to say...

"It was so much better to be with in a Christian organization rather than thrown to the whims of the courts..."
